I am writing an English Paper for college and would like to know what self expression means to you, why do you create art or express yourself the way you do? I am trying to get at what self expression means artistically, what are the healing properties in being able to know that we are able to show the rest of the world what voice we have inside of us that is so much more than words. In a sense we are gods! We create, we destroy, with a pencil in hand we are able to convey a message that runs so much deeper than what we would otherwise be able to say.
