I am writing an English Paper for college and would like to know what self expression means to you, why do you create art or express yourself the way you do? I am trying to get at what self expression means artistically, what are the healing properties in being able to know that we are able to show the rest of the world what voice we have inside of us that is so much more than words. In a sense we are gods! We create, we destroy, with a pencil in hand we are able to convey a message that runs so much deeper than what we would otherwise be able to say. Let me know how things speak to you.

I just wanted to post a journal entry and let y'all know that I submitted the Izack oil painting into a local artshow and recieved first place! It was only in a novice category but I was excited I won a blue ribbon. The reason why I went with novice was because I tried a couple years ago to submit at the same category and didn't win anything. But I am excited that I received a ribbon this year!

I am just curious what my faithful and few viewers prefer more out of my work, the short sketchy/ illustrative side, the Pastel work, my charcoal portrait work, or the more complex airbrush with charcoal and graphite work?
